The rumor mill suggests that the Surface Laptop Studio 2 will be the showstopper. Leaked details hint at Intel’s 13th Gen processors, Nvidia’s RTX 4060, a microSD card slot, and a USB-A port. The design seems reminiscent of its predecessor, with a transformative display shifting from laptop to tablet. Notably, it might be the first Surface device boasting a whopping 64GB of RAM. Shipping is rumored to commence on October 3rd.

Surface Go 4 & Surface Laptop Go 3:
While the Surface Laptop Studio 2 is expected to steal the limelight, the Surface Go 4 and Surface Laptop Go 3 are also on the horizon. The Surface Go 4 is speculated to house an Intel N200 processor, following a decision to sideline an Arm processor variant. The Surface Laptop Go 3, on the other hand, is rumored to be powered by Intel’s 12th Gen CPUs, with shipping expected in early October.

Windows AI: The Future of Computing

Microsoft is poised to unveil a slew of AI-powered features for Windows. Surface AI: The Evolution of Interaction

Steven Bathiche, the head of Microsoft’s applied sciences group, emphasized the transformative potential of AI in computing. The Surface team’s dedication to AI is evident with innovations like Windows Studio Effects, which debuted on the Arm-powered Surface Pro X in 2020. This feature auto-adjusts users’ eyes during video calls, ensuring constant eye contact. Such AI functionalities leverage a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), a specialized chip for AI tasks. Interestingly, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 might also feature its dedicated NPU.
