Belgium Campus iTversity Collaborates with Braintree to Modernise IT Infrastructure

To transform virtual machine infrastructure with the goal of providing students and teachers with fast and accessible computing systems

Belgium Campus iTversity needed an affordable, device-agnostic virtual machine solution to give students seamless access to coursework without relying on expensive hardware.

In January 2024, Braintree delivered this by deploying Azure Virtual Desktop and Virtual Machines, using Raspberry Pi devices to create a uniform, cloud-powered learning experience that ensured fast access, simplified software updates, and protected student work in real time. Students can now access coursework from any device—Android TVs, tablets, or older laptops—without concerns about licensing or performance. The institution can deploy new software across the system within minutes, and students benefit from consistent access to the latest tools, both on and off campus.
