Create a training programme

This function allows you to define the outline of a training programme. Select ‘Training Programmes’ from the Statutory Documents Setup page. A list of existing programmes will appear. Click on New.

Enter General information about the programme:

where applicable, enter Accreditation information:

This will link completed training for an employee to document certifications.

Capture one or more modules / subjects that are offered as part of the course:

This function allows you to define subjects on which you will offer training.

Create a training course

To create a new training course, open the Training Courses cue from the role centre. Click on New.

Select a programme ID from the drop down list. The system will allocate a Course ID. Enter a starting date. Capture details of the modules / subjects to be included in the course in the Training Course Modules subpage. Capture the course participants in the Training Course Registration subpage.

Schedule classes from a course

From the course, click on Schedule Classes. 
The system will create a new class for each session defined for the course, and assign all of the registered participants to each class. A pop up screen will appear, listing the sessions.

Complete the schedule by capturing the course date and venue for each session.

Record attendance and results of classes

Open the Classes cue. Select the course that you wish to record results for. Tick the Attended box for all students who attended the training. Where appropriate, capture the Evaluation result for the student.
