Braintree delivers continued growth in Microsoft Great Plains solutions

Friday, August 24th, 2018

We have seen a continued resurgence in investment in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) by concluding competitive wins across a number of distinctive verticals.

Says Heath Huxtable, executive head at Braintree, “Great Plains customers who are in the process of evaluating their ERP requirements, and working towards digitally transforming their organisations, are seeing great value in the combination of upgraded functionality and tools, coupled with a strong consultancy and partnership approach.”

Braintree believes that the commitment from Microsoft to continue its investment in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, with a product roadmap and integration into its Intelligent Cloud has spurred continued interest in the platform.

“These wins are also the result of our continued focus on securing the right resources for and investing in bolstering our Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains practice,” adds Huxtable.

Pride Milling, the marketer and distributor of basic, essential staple food products, has tasked Braintree with innovating and enhancing their investment in their current MS GP platform, with a view to reducing custom developed applications, streamlining operations, and lead the company into the digital age.

After an independent review of current ERP applications, the Enterprises University of Pretoria, the entity formed to organise the interaction between private sector and government in continued education, has chosen to continue investing in its Microsoft Great Plains product. The reinvestment in Great Plains will be rolled out in a phased approach and will provide simplified bookings, lecturing, pricing, payments and other back-end functionality.

Meadow Feeds, highly regarded as a market leader in the animal feed industry, has selected Braintree to support its existing Microsoft Dynamics GP installation. The organisation has provisionally earmarked an upgrade of its current Microsoft Dynamic Great Plains to the latest version available. The objective is to take advantage of the enterprise features provided by the platform, in the fields of process and workflow management, business intelligence and reporting.

“Our commitment to finding the best fit solution for our customers, leveraging what they have in place, and what is possible through consultancy and a clear understanding of the technology landscape is what we believe, differentiates us,” concludes Huxtable.
